May 2025 Donations

This May, we’re committing $10 from every order to the Tongva Taraxat Paxaavxa Conservancy—a Tongva-led organization working to restore ancestral land stewardship, cultural connection, and ecological care across Tovaangar (Los Angeles).

In January, the Eaton Fire swept through Huhuunga (Place of the Bears) in Altadena—the first land returned to the Tongva people in nearly 200 years. This sacred site, cared for by the Conservancy, was deeply impacted. While parts of the landscape were spared, cherished structures and natural spaces were lost.

The wildfire's aftermath has left visible scars. And yet, through the guidance of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK)—practices rooted in Indigenous science and land care—the Conservancy has already begun the healing process. TEK played a critical role in softening the fire’s impact and now forms the foundation for recovery.

By donating a portion of our sales this month, we’re joining a community of support to help rebuild Huhuunga—not just as a place, but as a living expression of history, resilience, and sovereignty.

Your orders this month contribute directly to:

  • Rebuilding damaged infrastructure

  • Ongoing ecological restoration

  • Community support and cultural revitalization
