Spring Equinox

Spring Equinox

Merry Spring Equinox ! Ostara is the pagan name for the Spring Equinox, a time of celebration of new beginnings, growth and rebirth. Today we are spending a little time outdoors, basking in the sunlight and dreaming up new jewels to share with you this season!

During this time, we always think of Persephone. To the ancient Greeks, spring and summer signified the six months when Persephone returned from the Underworld, and her mother Demeter made the earth bloom and grow bountiful after her absence. The story can also be understood as a symbol for transformation and the relationship between life and death.

Here at HIRA we feel ourselves transforming, blossoming into something new and refreshing as we embark on our new business venture. We're taking action and springing forward with an optimistic momentum. We're thinking about ways to connect and nourish our souls through beauty and the divine feminine.

Below is a song that feels right in sync with Spring.

Cheers to new beginnings and may your hopes and dreams come to fruition.
